A moment with WSOF Veteran Brandon “Hot Rod” Hempleman

We had the opportunity to speak to Brandon “Hot Rod” Hempleman today. The WSOF fighter from Twin Falls, Idaho is currently 10 – 2 in the Bantamweight division. His August 9th win over Alexis Villa demonstrated his lightning fast kicking ability. The first round kick to the head was definitely a wake up for Alexis.

So what is he doing in Colorado right now? The 5’6″ 135 fighter has arrived to train at Colorado’s very own Grudge Training center. Brandon hopes to have his next training camp, first two weeks and last two weeks, here with premier MMA coach Trevor Whitman. Brandon expressed that not only is Trevor a physical coach but as well as a mental coach.

Also while here in Colorado, Brandon has had the opportunity to train Jiu Jitsu with Professor Rodrigo Salazar from Denver Jiu Jitsu. As a two strip purple belt, Brandon had stated that working with Rodrigo has been a very awesome experience.

Best of luck to Brandon in his next fight!! He’s definitelyone to watch for!!
